On Saturday March 11th, Coventry Homes celebrated the partnership with the Edmonton Humane Society at the 13th Annual Paws and Claws Gala.
Now that the smoke machine fog has cleared and the dollars have been counted, we’re excited to announce that approximately $75,000 was raised at the 13th Annual Paws and Claws Gala!
After a 2 year hiatus, due to Covid restrictions, the 13th Annual Paws and Claws Gala held on March 11, 2023 exceeded all expectations! Over 380 familiar faces returned to the Edmonton Expo Centre to show their continued support of the event and the beneficiary – the Edmonton Humane Society (EHS). Graham Neil and Donovan Workun returned as the Emcee extraordinaires and helped to auction off some incredible Live Auction items; Tickets to the first Oilers Playoff Game, a trip to New York to see Jimmy Fallon and a Private Panorama Cabin rental for 15 people… to name a few!
The “Decades of Rock” theme was solidified with an amazing performance by Clayton Bellamy taking the guests on a journey from the nostalgic classics to current day hits. The crowd was excited, and encouraged to sing along, get up and dance and take in the award winning talents of Clayton and his band. In a momentous moment of the evening, the encore was a special performance by Henri Rodier, Coventry Homes CEO, and Ray Rodier, Impact Homes CEO along with closing act band of JayWalker. It was an incredibly special performance bringing together Henri’s love of music and his passion for supporting the community.
The night’s great music and delicious food were accompanied by numerous ways to donate – a 50/50 raffle, an extensive silent auction, the Booze-Hound Raffle and the popular Adopt-a-Stuffie Raffle all made it easy for guests to support the EHS.
On behalf of Coventry Homes’ General Manager, Mark Rodier, and our entire Coventry team, we would like to extend our heart-filled thanks to all of the gala sponsors, donors and everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts for the Edmonton Humane Society.
