See what's new on our Habitat for Humanity home in the Leduc community of Woodbend.
With October well under way, our Habitat home is more than half way through its building process…wow! The next few months will go quickly with many trades working simultaneously on their tasks.
When we last checked in, our Ari duplex in Leduc was just finishing up with framing. The plumbing and electrical rough-ins have also been completed, giving the home water, power, and heat. Now we are moving onto Insulation & Drywall. This stage involved a huge amount of work as all required spaces are first insulated and then drywall is hung, taped, and primed. Our team is working on insulation currently, and our drywall has arrived on site for. Once the drywall is up, each room really starts to take shape and the floorplan comes together from the maze of framing once it was a short time ago.
As October arrives, it's not just the spooky season of Halloween—it’s also the perfect time to make sure your home is ready for the colder months ahead. While skeletons and ghosts may be fun to decorate with, the real nightmare comes when winter sneaks up on you with unexpected home repairs!
Having an organized home not only makes it easier to keep clean, but it also increases productivity and improves your mood. With a little planning and creativity, it’s easy to incorporate home space saving solutions into your décor.
When buying a home, choosing to build your own home can ensure you get exactly what you want in a home. However, there are several factors to consider when choosing the right quality house builder in Edmonton to construct your new home.
